Integrated navigation systems for Siam Lucky Marine gas carriers

Thai shipping company Siam Lucky Marine has agreed a deal with GNS for the supply of an integrated navigation system to nine of its 21 gas carriers.

The deal sees GNS providing its SEALL touchscreen ECDIS and Voyager planning and navigation management software to the ships, and also includes the ENCs that Siam Lucky’s vessels will use for navigation, for a fixed annual fee.

“We are delighted to be supporting Siam Lucky by providing a suite of tools for safe and compliant digital navigation,” said GNS CEO Paul Stanley.

“The ability to deliver a complete solution, combining modern hardware, software, navigation data and data analytics, sets GNS apart and enables us to best meet the individual needs of every customer.”

As part of the deal, Siam Lucky’s onshore management team will also have access to GNS’s Voyager FLEET INSIGHT service, providing real time vessel position as well as navigation compliance management and port state inspection histories.
