UK-based Marine Software Ltd reports that it has recently completed the delivery of its MPMWin – Marine Planned Maintenance to Irish Ferries, to be used in managing maintenance for the ferry operator’s latest Ro-Ro passenger vessel W.B. Yeats.
Built in 2018 at Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft in Germany and classed with DNV GL, the ferry sails between Ireland and the UK from October to March, and between Ireland and France from March to October.
The deal is an extension of an existing relationship between the companies, with Irish Ferries also operating the MPMWin software on the vessel Dublin Swift, as well as in its technical management office.
