Moscord taps GAC to manage maritime e-commerce deliveries

GAC Marine Logistics (GML) has formed a partnership with maritime e-commerce developer Moscord to provide global last mile delivery services for the Moscord digital marketplace.

Moscord currently offers some 200,000 products to the shipping industry. Under the new agreement, orders placed via the platform will be received by GAC Singapore – the designated control and coordination hub – who will then arrange for the spare parts or supplies to be cleared at the destination port before delivery to their final destination.

“Moscord is committed to building the leanest, most efficient and reliable purchase and fulfilment cycle, from initial customer engagement through to final delivery at any port location worldwide,” said Freddy Ingemann, founder and CEO of Moscord.

“We have created a platform that we believe can revolutionise the ship supply segment, delivering huge benefits to both buyers and sellers, and it’s important we engage with the right partners to realise its full potential. I can’t think of a better name than GML to help us achieve our ambitious goals.”
