Fuji Trading integrates with MESPAS on e-procurement

Fuji Trading, a Japan-based provider of maritime supplies, has integrated with e-trading platform MESPAS Connect to provide direct digital maritime procurement capabilities for MESPAS users.

Fuji Trading offers a range of spare parts, ships’ stores, machinery and equipment for the maritime industry. The MESPAS web-based trading platform offers an online marketplace for ship managers and maritime suppliers, which Fuji Trading will link to via an API.

The integration of the two firms’ systems will create a fully automated data flow allowing ship managers to place requests via MESPAS Connect that will be automatically received by Fuji Trading, allowing for an immediate response.

The integration agreement follows similar previous deals between MESPAS and maritime stakeholders including MAN Energy Solutions and Wärtsilä to allow data to be exchanged directly between users and suppliers on the trading platform.
