Dataloy completes data integration with Prosmar

Dataloy Systems has announced its latest data integration with Prosmar, a provider of commodity and risk management software, creating a direct link between its systems and Dataloy’s cloud-based voyage management offerings.

“The introduction of Prosmar´s Bunker Dashboard and Prosmar´s Risk System as a new Dataloy Partner offering will allow for effective management of bunker and freight risks, analysis, forecasts, and mitigation strategies in a single platform for real-time insights and analysis,” said Erik Fritz Loy, CEO of Dataloy Systems.

Users can Integrate bunker requirements from Dataloy directly into Prosmar and write back purchasing details once deals are fixed. The system supports the entire bunker process and workflow, from initial client inquiries to invoicing and accounting procedures, while also providing real time credit line and trading P&L data.

Bunker prices can be accessed in real-time with data from actual deals combined with movements of the bunker swaps market, based on voluntary anonymous data sharing within the Prosmar Bunker Dashboard application for benchmarking of bunker purchases.

The Prosmar Risk System offers automated risk reports and an Option and Value at Risk calculator, allowing users to manage the exposure of flexible ship days and optional periods and calculate how much each asset type, entity, or business unit contributes to the total portfolio’s risk.

“Providing companies with better business insights to mitigate risks and ensure smooth bunker operations has been a key component of Prosmar AS since its inception,” said Ali Jourabchi, CEO of Prosmar AS.

“With this new integrated offering with Dataloy, joint customers will be able to make better decisions based on real-time data on bunkering, risk, and control mitigation strategies.”
