Blue Water adds on-demand maritime platform

India-headquartered maritime technology company Blue Water, developer of the Blue Water Optimum Speed Services (BOSS) software system, has added a new self-service platform to its portfolio, named BOND (BOSS on Demand).

BOND provides access to a customised version of the company’s voyage optimisation and reporting applications, including features for data collection and validation for various analysis functions.

This includes emission reporting and compliance management, with preset templates for reports required under regulations including EU-ETS, CII, and IMO-DCS. Users can customise these templates as required and connect with AI-assisted vessel monitoring to eliminate errors.

Vessel performance analysis options are available, with performance curves and trends derived from validated data allowing for the creation of benchmarks for hull, propeller, and engine conditions. A real-time alerting system is available to notify of anomalies in performance.

Ship monitoring services are also included, using satellite AIS position data, weather forecasts and hindcasts integrated within a single user interface, while an Optimum Routing feature allows vessels to chart the most efficient course tailored to their needs.
