Laskaridis Shipping has adopted the NEREUS platform developed by Greek company Nereus Digital Bunkers to assist in digitalising its marine fuel management.
Laskaridis Maritime manages the dry bulk shipping arm of the Alimia Group, with 20 vessels including capsize, kamsarmax and ultramax ships.
The new application will be used to streamline processes from negotiation to post-fixture, simplifying and expanding operations to reduce staff workload and provide data-driven decision support.
The cloud-based software offers real-time data and analytics, as well as automated search and bunker indications for voyage planning and optimisation.
“Working with Laskaridis Shipping, we’re bringing together the best of technology and industry know-how to enhance shipping operations,” said Nikolas Gkikas, CEO of Nereus Digital Bunkers.
