Eastern Pacific Shipping to roll-out DeepSea Technologies platform fleetwide

Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has entered into an agreement with DeepSea Technologies for a fleet-wide deployment of its Cassandra Performance Monitoring platform, following the completion of a trial of DeepSea’s high-frequency AI performance models.

The fleet spans multiple segments, including bulk, tanker, gas, container, and PCTC vessels, many of which are already equipped with high-frequency sensors to facilitate the collection of granular data.

EPS will use the system to monitor its fleet in real-time, through AI-generated digital twins of vessel machinery. The application’s modelling and analytics will provide details on the entire fleet’s performance, enabling EPS to make dynamic decisions in real-time to minimise fuel consumption and reduce GHG emissions.

“As we embark on this journey of digital transformation, harnessing the power of DeepSea’s Cassandra platform, we’re not just optimising performance,” said EPS’ Fleet Performance Manager Pavlos Karagiannidis.

“We are charting a course towards a more sustainable and efficient future for maritime operations.”
