Bearing AI introduces Schedule Recovery software

Bearing AI has launched its new Schedule Recovery application, designed to help liner vessel operators resolve delays and maintain schedule reliability through the use of artificial intelligence.

The system can be used to generate optimal plans that balance reliability and costs, within any commercial and operational constraints outlined by the user.

“Bearing AI’s Schedule Recovery outperforms traditional methods of handling vessel delays,” said Kristofer Maanum, Senior Product Manager at Bearing AI.

“Unlike spreadsheets or bespoke systems, our AI models, in one click, identify the optimal plan that maximises reliability at the lowest cost.”

“To expedite negotiations with stakeholders, our tool automatically regenerates the top recovery options to address objections and constraints and agree on the best plan to pursue.”

Operators can use the software to manage multiple vessel delays, generate recovery plans with optimised vessel speeds and port ETAs, and visualise trade-offs between fuel and EU ETS costs and reliability.
