Dirac reports that it has agreed a strategic partnership with Fairlead to implement its model-based manufacturing platform across Fairlead’s shipbuilding operations in the US.
The deployment will include automated work instruction and production planning systems from Dirac, supported by an embedded Forward-Deployed Engineer at Fairlead’s Virginia facilities to assist with implementation.
The platform will support context-aware production planning and create feedback loops across design and delivery phases.
“This is about rebuilding American industrial power — with software at the core,” said Filip Aronshtein, CEO of Dirac.
“Fairlead shares our conviction that production must move at the speed of design, and that tribal knowledge, digital context, and manufacturing execution belong on the same plane.”
The companies aim to scale modular ship production and support the delivery of naval platforms, autonomous vessels, and mission modules. Fairlead will use Dirac’s full platform stack, including tools for design-for-manufacturability, operator feedback, and automated maintenance planning.
