OceanScore launches digital marketplace for FuelEU pooling

OceanScore has introduced a new FuelEU Pooling Marketplace to support shipowners, managers, and operators in meeting FuelEU Maritime requirements, offering a platform to manage compliance balances and connect with pooling partners within a single system.

Integrated into the OceanScore Compliance Manager, the platform allows users to review potential pooling counterparties, compare offers, and connect directly to agree terms without third-party involvement or additional onboarding steps.

A contract template developed in cooperation with law firm Clyde & Co is available to simplify agreement terms, though clients can also use their own formats.

“We built the Marketplace to reflect what our customers have been asking for: a clear, practical way to manage FuelEU compliance without incurring unnecessary complexity and costs,” said Albrecht Grell, Managing Director at OceanScore.

“We designed the business model to align with our customers, not monetise complexity. Especially in today’s tight-margin environment, we believe clarity and fairness matter more than ever.”

Offered either as part of Compliance Manager or as a standalone option, the Marketplace is available under a fixed annual fee per fleet.
