BW LNG reports that it has completed the deployment of its Common Vessel Infrastructure (CVI) 2.0 across a combined fleet of 107 vessels, including ships operated by BW LPG and Hafnia.
The upgrade aims to standardise onboard digital infrastructure across the fleet, supporting better vessel connectivity, remote support capabilities, and real-time operational decision-making.
Key improvements include secure networking capabilities, unified data collection systems, and standardised hardware platforms to support scalable digital applications.
The deployment began with BW Helios and concluded with BW Kestrel, with the company noting that the CVI 2.0 programme will lay the foundation for future digitalisation initiatives by improving the integration of operational data across vessels and shore-based teams.
