Ocean Infinity launches latest Uncrewed Surface Vessel for Kuwaiti Coast Guard

Ocean Infinity has launched its NeedleFish Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) in partnership with the Kuwaiti Coast Guard (KCG), as part of an integrated maritime surveillance system being delivered by SRT Marine Systems.

The 14-metre dual-hull USV is equipped with a range of surveillance and mapping sensors, remotely controlled from onshore command centres.

The system will support unmanned patrol, mapping, and monitoring operations across Kuwait’s 11,000km² of territorial waters, with live data feeds integrated into the national maritime domain awareness platform.

“This programme is another significant milestone for Ocean Infinity as we employ our deep operational experience and proven technology to support clients in new and more complex markets at a time when these capabilities are more relevant than ever,” said Ocean Infinity CEO Oliver Plunkett.
