Saronic launches platform for mission control of autonomous vessels

Saronic Technologies has introduced a new platform called Echelon, designed to support mission planning, high-fidelity simulation, and real-time command and control (C2) of Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASVs).

The system enables operators to plan and simulate missions before deployment and control multiple vessels through a single interface. It also offers the option to monitor or intervene in real time, while supporting autonomous operation without continuous connectivity for use in communications-degraded environments.

Echelon includes simulation tools that provide data on vessel performance using data from Saronic’s hardware and software stack. Operations validated in simulation can be deployed to one or more ASVs directly through the platform.

The system also incorporates low-latency video streaming and autonomy-aware alerts to deliver relevant data to operators.

“Echelon is aligned with Saronic’s core belief that a vertically integrated system across both software and hardware will best enable our end users to achieve their mission objectives,” said Vibhav Altekar, Co-Founder and CTO at Saronic.
