Pole Star Global has acquired UK-based Clearwater Dynamics, expanding its real-time maritime risk intelligence capabilities and marking its entry into the marine insurance sector.
Clearwater’s Coral platform provides underwriters and brokers with tools to assess and monitor vessel risk in real time, services expected to complement Pole Star’s existing offerings in regulatory compliance, voyage optimisation, dark vessel detection and maritime analytics.
The integration will also add first-party data from Clearwater’s operational network to Pole Star’s DOMAIN platform to enhance predictive analytics.
