Solstad expands software agreement with UniSea

Solstad Offshore and Solstad Maritime have agreed to extend their UniSea implementation to cover a full range of technical modules, including Maintenance, Procurement, Maindeck, Inspections and Electronic LogBooks.

The companies already use UniSea’s HSEQ and Operations modules, with the expansion aimed at creating an integrated fleet management system across Solstad’s global operations, replacing multiple separate systems with a single platform.

“As a global maritime leader, we recognise the importance of extracting synergies from a fully integrated system,” said Tor Johan Tveit, COO of Solstad.

“Having experienced excellent results with our existing modules, we wanted to achieve that same level of effectiveness across our technical operations.”

“UniSea’s focus on user-friendly software that not only works but is also intuitive for all stakeholders involved was crucial to our decision.”

UniSea’s Maintenance module was developed to support preventative maintenance and reduce downtime risk. Other modules such as Maindeck are designed to simplify project management processes like dry-docking.

Solstad and UniSea both have their roots in Skudeneshavn, Norway, a coastal town of 3,000 inhabitants.
