Turkish shipmanager Genel Denizcilik Nakliyati (Gedenlines) has agreed a deal with Marlink to provide a hybrid network and cyber security system across its fleet of 26 vessels and six newbuildings.
Delivered through local partner Ozsay Satellite, the package will use Marlink’s Sealink Nextgen service combining Starlink LEO and global VSAT connectivity.
The agreement also includes XChange network management and Unified Threat Management (UTM) cyber security to support digital fleet operations and crew communications.
“High quality tanker shipping requires attention to detail and a dedication to the highest quality standards, something we also expect from all our partners,” said Baris Kopdag, IT Manager Gedenlines.
“Marlink has proven itself to be a supporter of our goals and ambitions to maintain smart and safe operations across our fleet now and into the future.”
