Halo Technologies and P3 Marine to develop maritime AI and fintech platform

Halo Captain, the marine division of Halo Technologies, has agreed a strategic partnership with P3 Marine to co-develop an artificial intelligence and fintech platform aimed at the maritime sector.

The partnership will bring together Halo Technologies’ AI-based risk, insurance and financial intelligence capabilities with P3 Marine’s operational experience across superyachts, commercial shipping, ports and marine services.

The two companies say that they will work with a group of insurers, brokers, fleet and yacht managers, service providers, captains and financial institutions as strategic partners in the platform’s development. The focus is on aligning the technology with real-world marine operations rather than adapting generic enterprise systems.

The new platform aims to combine AI-enabled risk assessment with operational management, reporting, compliance tools and financial intelligence to improve transparency across operations and finance for vessel operators and managers.

“Marine is one of the most operationally complex industries in the world, yet much of its digital and financial infrastructure remains fragmented and outdated,” said Neil Sands, Founder and CEO of Halo Technologies.

“By partnering with P3 Marine and a group of leading global multinationals, we are building a platform that reflects how the marine industry actually operates – right from the Captain’s operations, to risk, compliance, finance, and day-to-day execution on a per second basis.”
