Maersk Tankers has renewed and expanded its partnership with ZeroNorth under a new five-year agreement covering 240 vessels across its managed fleet, including all tankers and gas carriers.
Under the expanded scope, Maersk Tankers will continue to use ZeroNorth’s voyage optimisation systems, onboard decision support and fleet performance and data quality management. The deployment will provide real-time routing and speed recommendations while supporting voyage execution and performance monitoring across the fleet.
The companies say the agreement is intended to simplify internal operational processes while improving reporting quality and decision-making related to voyage execution and performance.

ZeroNorth was originally developed as an in-house platform at Maersk Tankers before being spun out as an independent company in early 2020. Later that year, the company secured investment from Cargill and has since expanded its ownership base through partnerships with Trafigura and other equity investors.
