MarInn has soft launched the Maritime Innovation Network, an online ecosystem designed to connect maritime startups with investors, accelerators, mentors, corporates and service providers.
The website is now live with contributions from maritime startup ecosystem participants, with the full networking platform scheduled to be activated during the first and second quarters of 2026.
Early contributors include Wärtsilä, Maersk Growth and Motion Ventures.
The initiative aims to address fragmentation across the maritime innovation landscape by providing a centralised platform for founders and stakeholders involved in technology development, investment and commercialisation. MarInn will target founder, incubators and accelerators, angel investors, corporate partners, venture capital funds and specialist service providers.
The Maritime Innovation Network was founded by Argyris Stasinakis, who exited ship-tracking company MarineTraffic when it was sold to Kpler in 2023. Since then, he has been acting as a mentor and angel investor, working with early-stage founders across the maritime technology sector.
