Singapore-based Aesen has signed a framework agreement with Cetasol to implement the iHelm decision-support platform across its entire fleet of 120 vessels.
The agreement follows a collaboration that began in 2024. The first phase of the roll-out is scheduled to commence in 2026, with the remainder of the fleet, which includes high-speed Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) and heavy-duty logistics vessels, to be equipped in the following years.
The iHelm system uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide real-time onboard recommendations for captains, alongside historical trend insights via a cloud platform. For Aesen’s particular operations, the system will include the Cetafuel virtual mass flow meter, which offers fuel monitoring without the need for additional hardware installations.
The platform also integrates onboard cameras and Motion Reference Unit (MRU) sensors to improve motion planning and navigation safety.

The system will be integrated to support both diesel and hybrid vessels, providing the company with a centralised system to monitor energy consumption and vessel health across its global operations.
