Sedna has announced a new integration with Marcura’s DA-Desk to enable the review and approval of Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDA) and Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) directly within the Sedna interface.
The partnership connects the communication platform with the DA-Desk workflow engine to manage maritime financial documents.
Maritime teams often process thousands of disbursement account approvals annually, a task that usually requires switching between various inboxes and systems. The new integration allows these approvals to occur within a single workspace, where email threads are automatically structured and routed based on vessel, voyage, and port call data.
The tool provides one-click inline approvals, making the necessary context and documents available to the user. All actions taken within the system are synced in real time with DA-Desk, to maintain audit trails and support regulatory compliance.
The system also allows for the creation of custom thresholds. This feature enables the automatic approval of routine disbursement accounts while flagging exceptions for manual review by operators.
The integration is now available for shared customers of Sedna and Marcura.
