Groundup.ai has launched the Global Machine Benchmark (GMB), described as a standardised process that aims to make machinery performance measurable, comparable, and transparent across global fleets.
Integrated into the company’s GINA AI v2 platform, the GMB aims to provide a baseline ‘truth’ for operations.
“The GMB is the shared brain for the fleet. It is not just a dashboard. It is a standard that shows leaders exactly where they stand and what it takes to close the gap,” said Leon Lim, CEO and Founder of Groundup.ai.
The platform normalises machine behaviour across different operating environments by ingesting multi-modal data. It breaks machine health into four components to deliver a single score, which the company says will allow operators to compare their assets against competitors and international standards.

The system can also operate as a continuous improvement engine through a loop of benchmarking, diagnosing, deciding, acting, and improving. It is designed to work across entire fleets, using a data flywheel that increases accuracy and diagnostic precision as more assets are connected.
