Marpoint and ClearSkies combine for maritime cyber security system

Marpoint has announced a partnership with ClearSkies to deliver a new cyber security and compliance system designed specifically for the maritime industry, combining the Marpoint UNI infrastructure and cyber security framework with an artificial intelligence-powered Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system and Security Operations Centre (SOC) support.

The collaboration consolidates Marpoint’s maritime IT and cyber security infrastructure with the ClearSkies AI-powered Integrated Security Operations Centre (ISOC) platform, to deliver centralised visibility, proactive threat detection, and stronger cyber resilience across fleets.

“As vessels become increasingly connected and dependent on digital infrastructure, cybersecurity is no longer optional,” said Anastasios Kyrkos, Chief Executive Officer of Marpoint.

“Through our cooperation with ClearSkies, we combine AI-powered threat monitoring with Marpoint’s maritime IT and cybersecurity expertise, to help shipping companies improve operational resilience, support compliance requirements, and protect business continuity across their fleets.”

The ClearSkies ISOC platform integrates directly with the Marpoint UNI environment and can be deployed without additional onboard hardware requirements. The joint framework continuously monitors vessel IT environments, networks, endpoints, DNS traffic, cloud services, and connected systems using AI-driven analytics and human evaluation.

The AI-driven analytics are designed to reduce false positives, accelerate investigation processes, and improve threat response efficiency. The SOC layer validates and prioritises alerts from both cyber security and maritime operational perspectives.

“The maritime industry is navigating an increasingly complex threat landscape, and it needs security built for the way it operates,” said Eleftherios Antoniades, Founder & Chief Technology Officer of ClearSkies.

“By uniting the ClearSkies platform with Marpoint’s deep maritime expertise, we are delivering faster threat detection, sharper response, and lasting cyber resilience across global fleets.”
