AST Networks has announced the launch of Phase2, an updated connectivity service powered by Eutelsat OneWeb.
Building on the capabilities of Eutelsat’s OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network, Phase2 combines expanded service availability, secure private networking, and integrated support services.
“Connectivity is no longer simply about getting online,” said Gregory Darling, Founder and Chairman of AST Networks.
“Our customers need reliable coverage, predictable performance, stronger security, and the flexibility to adapt as operational requirements evolve. Phase2 has been designed to deliver exactly that – improved coverage, better value, stronger security – and a platform for future growth.”
The Phase2 service introduces a new tier of capabilities designed to support operational requirements ranging from individual vessels to global fleet deployments. The portfolio features flexible fixed-data plans, unlimited connectivity plans, and Pay As You Go (PAYG) options.
It also incorporates dynamic fleet pooling capabilities, flexible migration between service plans, as well as monitoring, management, and technical support.
To protect business-critical traffic, Phase2 provides private networking through the company’s global Points of Presence (PoPs). This infrastructure helps remote operators reduce their exposure to cyber threats while maintaining secure access to cloud applications
For operations requiring advanced protection, the company offers integrated cybersecurity services to strengthen resilience across operational technology (OT), information technology (IT), the Internet of Things (IoT), and connected marine assets.
“Together, we are helping organisations build connectivity strategies that support critical operations today, while preparing for the demands of tomorrow,” said Thierry Polycarpe, VP Aero and Maritime Connectivity of Eutelsat.
