Stolt Tankers to deploy e-procurement platform across 100 vessels

Stolt Tankers has deployed Procureship’s e-procurement platform across around 100 deep-sea vessels as part of a move to digitalise procurement operations across its fleet.

The systems went live in June 2026 and will replace Stolt Tankers’ internally developed procurement system, which is due to be retired.

Procureship has developed a contracts management feature for the shipping company, providing a centralised repository for tenders and contracts and allowing Stolt to evaluate agreements with suppliers.

The module can also generate requests for quotation (RFQs) and purchase orders (POs) automatically for contracted items or preselected suppliers.

Procureship said the system is designed to reduce purchasing cycle times and provide greater visibility of contracted items and suppliers.

The platform currently supports more than 2,600 vessels operated by more than 115 shipowners, operators and managers.
