WaveBL and Coneksion strengthen custom data workflows

WaveBL and Coneksion have announced an expansion of their technology collaboration to connect ocean booking data with trade document workflows.

Coneksion’s RAPIDS Ocean Booking Data Connectivity system, powered by its RAPIDS Common Carrier Layer (CCL), supports data exchange between WaveBL and ocean carrier systems, reducing the need for custom integrations and manual follow-ups.

The collaboration supports WaveHub, WaveBL’s system for managing bookings, Shipping Instructions, electronic bills of lading (eBLs), Sea Waybills, documents and shipment tracking.

WaveHub is built on WaveBL’s digital trade network and is intended to reduce manual document handling and provide a single workflow for shipping documentation and booking information.

The companies said the collaboration addresses the use of carrier portals, emails, PDFs and manual Shipping Instructions across ocean freight operations by connecting carrier data exchange with trade document workflows.
