TS Cyanergy’s CE2 Engine Monitoring Platform has received Product Design Assessment (PDA) approval from ABS for installation as a non-essential engine monitoring system aboard ABS-classed vessels and offshore installations.
The wireless platform is designed to collect engine performance, fuel consumption, emissions and operating condition data, as well as maintenance warnings, and provide the information through cloud-based analytics and real-time reporting.
The ABS assessment included technical design review, product testing, documentation and cybersecurity evaluation.
“Our patent-pending wireless monitoring solution leverages advanced IoT technology to provide real-time access to engine diagnostics, fuel consumption data, emissions information, operating conditions, and maintenance warnings,” said Mohammed Khambaty, Chief Technology Officer of TS Cyanergy.
The company says the system is designed for installation and integration with existing customer systems, with applications across maritime and offshore operations.
