This discussion will centre on emerging technologies such as autonomous vessels, digitalization, IoT, AI, and blockchain, transforming maritime operations for improved efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Our experts will delve into investment trends, funding sources, and models for identifying and scaling innovative solutions. The panel concludes with a forward-looking discussion on emerging market trends, regulatory developments, and disruptive technologies shaping the maritime industry's future.

Session 5 / Greening the Waves: Exploring Maritime Sustainability
This panel will delve into the green transition in the maritime industry, focusing on the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), green corridors, and sustainability initiatives. Expect discussions on regulatory frameworks, technological innovations, operational practices, and industry trends aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainability across maritime operations.

The roundtable discussions will take place simultaneously with each table host then asked to summarise their discussions for the whole room, to ensure that all participants get the most from their attendance. There will be a total of 10 table discussions to choose from. Delegates are sent the list in advance and invited to choose the table they would most like to join. The tables themselves will last for 30 minutes with 30 minutes for summaries.
