The SMN Vision
Sustainable Evolution in Maritime’s Digital Economy
Maritime’s digital economy continues to grow, with vessels, devices, people, businesses and processes becoming ever more connected and reliant on data use and exchange. The collection, measurement and analysis of this data is the backbone of this interconnectedness and using this information intelligently, quickly, and accurately will enable the shipping sector to grow, evolve and transform – ideally whilst also maintaining a focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
But how can companies be sure they are evolving in the right way? Rapid transformation brings great challenges. What to invest in? Should you build from within or buy from outside? Who to work with? Where to prioritise focus? How to communicate these changes with both internal and external stakeholders? And what of the people and talent that underpin all of this?
SMN Rotterdam 2023 will provide an executive forum to review and accelerate action for sustainable growth in Maritime’s Digital Economy. Join us to be part of the conversation around the future of maritime's digital era.
