Invoicing added to maritime procurement system

Maritime software company MESPAS has added an invoicing function to its web-based MESPAS Connect online marketplace, to allow users to manage the ordering and payment aspects of the procurement process within one system.

The platform can now be used to request offers, place orders, send and receive invoices and approve payments, from both the buyer and supplier side.

The system is also prefilled with global master data from the application so no manual entry is required, the Switzerland-based company says.

This expansion of the procurement application forms part of MESPAS’s overall Technical Ship Management (TSM) system, which allows management of functions such as maintenance, QHSE and operations.
