Cyprus-based shipping company Intership Navigation, a part of the Hartmann Group in Germany, has agreed a deal to implement a digital technical management system from Norway-headquartered VesselMan to assist in streamlining its operations, the companies report.

Shipowner Intership also provides third party management for a small number of European, American and Asian owners. Its owned fleet consists of more than 50 vessels of various types, while the company delivers technical management for 35 third-party vessels and crew management for another 100 ships.

Intership will be adopting VesselMan’s Cloud-based system to improve management of its dry-dockings and technical projects, and to support collaboration between company stakeholders.

The software is used to connect management, customers, yards, suppliers and the site-team within a ‘digital value chain’, which can be supervised and monitored from a web browser to provide real time status updates.

“We are incredibly excited to announce our newest signing, Intership Navigation,” said Glenn Edvardsen, CEO VesselMan.

“This achievement demonstrates the abilities of VesselMan, an efficient Cloud-based management system that streamlines dry-dockings and ship repairs, making them more straightforward for a client with large number of vessels and dry-dockings.”
