Speedcast boosts data analytics capabilities with Contiamo partnership

Speedcast has announced a strategic partnership with data science firm Contiamo GmbH, which will see the companies work together to deliver analytics systems to Speedcast customers to support optimised operational decision-making.

The move is part of an effort by Speedcast to strengthen its Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities and expand its role in the market beyond communications systems integration to include deployment of end-to-end IoT systems.

This partnership with Contiamo is expected to accelerate that process by allowing data analytics and business intelligence systems to be more easily applied by customers, to enable data-driven process improvements.

“Many of our customers are undergoing digital transformations and want data analytics to be a core component of their business management processes and be easily accessible to support critical business decisions,” said Tim Bailey, Executive Vice President, Products, Marketing and Business Development, Speedcast.

“Customers are looking to Speedcast to not only transport data but also support them in the analysis of that data. The partnership with Contiamo is a step towards our objective to become a managed information service provider.”

“Contiamo’s specialty in data analytics gives us strong back-end capabilities to identify, collect, analyse and visualise data and reduce complexity with intuitive dashboards and actionable intelligence. Contiamo is an ideal partner to help us fulfil our customers’ needs in today’s data-intensive world.”
