MESPAS integrates with MAN

MAN Energy Solutions has completed an integration project to link its systems with the MESPAS Connect web-based electronic procurement platform, to provide a new online option for customer purchasing.

The integration will allow fully automated data flows between the two software systems operated by MAN and MESPAS, the companies said.

Ship managers using MESPAS Connect will be able to receive accurate electronic offers directly from MAN without requiring any additional data entry, and can request offers, place orders, receive invoices and approve payments within the application.

MAN itself can also use the online system to make offers, accept orders and send invoices electronically, in real time.

The web-based system is built on MESPAS’ Cloud-hosted master database, built up over many years to contain technical details for millions of spare parts and machinery items required on a ship. This dataset sits at the heart of both MESPAS Connect and the company’s Technical Ship Management (TSM) software applications.
