North P&I adds new digital tools

North P&I Club has launched a range of new digital tools to improve the services it can offer to its Members and its ability to deliver data on maritime events.

A new website has been developed to provide easier access to North’s P&I, FD&D and Loss Prevention information resources, with an interactive 3D globe tool called GlobeView added to display information such as maritime threats and incidents or port and weather reports.

Industry Expertise areas on the website centralise information on trending topics and persistent industry challenges, and a revamped Members’ area, MyNorth, allows Members and brokers to personalise their content.

Access to the website’s resources is also offered via improved Android and iOS apps, that provide translated content and access to every North employee and correspondent.

“The protection of our Members’ international interests enables them to trade with confidence, because they know that our support and expert guidance is only ever a phone call away or accessible at the click of a button,” said Paul Jennings, North P&I Club’s Chief Executive.

“North’s capacity to invest in the highest levels of individual, tailored service wherever our Members are based, and to develop and deploy new digital tools to deliver the intelligence and insights they need, is testament to our commitment to service excellence.”
