Tototheo adds SES VSAT product

Cyprus-based Tototheo Maritime has signed a new five-year agreement with satellite operator SES for the delivery of maritime VSAT services via SES Networks’ Skala Global Platform.

The Skala platform will be used to provide flexible bandwidth management, automatic beam switching, and network management to maximise efficiency in bandwidth delivery for users of the satcom service.

“We are very excited to enter into this partnership with SES Networks. At Tototheo Maritime we take great pride in our long-term relationships with partners and customers, which allow us to create synergies and add to the value chain,” said Despina Theodosiou, Joint CEO at Tototheo Maritime.

“Data-enabled efficiency and compliance technologies in the market today are making a real impact for shipowners, as well as for their crews’ safety and welfare. As a service provider in the industry for 35 years, we understand how important it is for our customers to remain flexible and versatile, while investing in reliable and futureproof solutions. We believe we have found a like-minded partner in SES.”

“Faster and more reliable connectivity represents an incredible opportunity for shipowners. In fact, ship owners in Tototheo Maritime’s market understand the need to leverage new technologies to reduce operating costs and deliver long-term value.”
