Q88 and Dataloy integrate systems for automated questionnaire preparation

Maritime software companies Q88 LLC and Dataloy Systems are joining forces to automate management of questionnaire data for shipowners, charterers and operators, integrating Dataloy’s VMS application with the Q88 tanker information management platform.

Both firms’ software include an open architecture of APIs for interfacing voyage data which will be used to link the systems, integrating cargo history data from Dataloy’s VMS to automatically populate cargo history and last cargoes carried questions within the Q88.com and Q88Dry questionnaires.

Once enabled, the answer to questions like 12.1 on the Q88 for example, listing the last three cargoes carried, will be input automatically. Removing manual entry of the data will reduce the time required to compete the questionnaires and makes sure that the data is properly synchronised with the voyage management system.

“This integration provides efficiencies and increased accuracy for customers of Q88 and Dataloy, aligning with both companies’ efforts to aid in customers’ digital transformation,” said Fritz Heidenreich, founder and president of Q88, LLC.
