Seably signs Marine Insight partnership to expand digital training

The Seably digital marketplace for maritime training has announced a new partnership with Marine Insight, an online source of maritime information, training, and education, a deal which will see the two firms work together on exclusive specialised material for Seably subscribers.

Launched in 2010 in Bangalore, India, Marine Insight provides maritime news, career guidance, and e-learning via its website.

Its content will now supplement the free or low-cost digital training options already available through Seably, a platform owned by the Swedish Shipping Association and created by seafarers for seafarers.

“With Marine Insight, we are able to offer exclusive educational material which strengthens our library of e-learning for the maritime sector,” said Captain Tim Fenech, Head of Course Development at Seably.

“It also keeps us firmly at the forefront of maritime training globally, providing online education that can be easily accessed virtually anywhere.”
