IB teams up with EniSolv on maritime software development

Maritime software company IB, part of the Arribatec Group, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EniSolv, a newly created joint venture between One Net Group and Hydrus Engineering, to work together in the development of performance monitoring, evaluation, and optimisation software tools for the shipping industry.

“It is a real honour to meet and shake hands, finally in person after working in isolation for several months, with such professional and competent people and we are looking forward to approaching new challenges together,” commented Giampiero Soncini, IB’s CEO.

IB and EniSolv’s teams of naval architects and marine engineers will work together on new application features that will build on the capabilities of IB’s existing InfoShip software package, the companies said.

“We are delighted to team up with experts in the performance analytics maritime space aiming to develop solutions together,” added Michalis Hadjistylianou of EniSolv.

“The team, between IB and Hydrus, with the support of the Fameline Group (One Net’s parent company), provides the right environment for success.”
