Swedish company Seably, a provider of online digital training content for the maritime industry, has announced a new joint venture health and technology company, WellAtSea.
The partnership will see the two firms combine their technology and resources to deliver health and wellness courses and content to seafarers.
Seably’s online marketplace offers approximately 250 courses on maritime topics, while Danish-owned WellAtSea offers dedicated wellness programmes that will be added to the range of services already on the Seably marketplace.
“The partnership will enhance our strengths,” said Claus Sonderskov, WellAtSea Medical Director.
“Seably is the future for maritime learning and development using the latest technology. WellAtSea provides an easy-to-implement and platform-driven programme of tailored activities for companies of any size that employees will love to use – and that will save the company and employees money spent on healthcare costs.”
“Together this is a partnership that will provide immense value for seafarers and promote safety for the mariner within the industry.”
