NORDEN upgrades vessel performance software

Danish shipping company NORDEN has announced that it has launched an updated vessel performance management software system.

The new application will be used to provide the company’s pool partners and other stakeholders with transparent data on vessel performance from its global dry cargo and product tanker services.

The software uses the same interface as its predecessor but now offers more frequent data updates and improved speed. The upgrade also offers improved access to CO2 emissions data, with the company noting that it plans to add a new CII and vessel comparison tool to the system early next year.

“With this upgrade, we are able to help our business partners get crucial insights about their vessel performance and, therefore, provide them with information on how to better optimise their vessels on several different parameters,” said Thiago Pessôa, Vessel Performance Manager at NORDEN.
