MarineTraffic data added to Shipeezi platform

MarineTraffic has entered into a strategic partnership with freight and logistics software company Shipeezi, which will see the two companies integrate their respective platforms for improved data sharing.

The move will see data on containers, vessels and weather from the MarineTraffic Visibility service, which provides real-time carrier independent tracking built on AIS and machine learning algorithms, added to Shipeezi’s SaaS platform.

This will allow users to track containers in real-time, from all shipping lines, view ETAs and manage notifications directly through the Shipeezi dashboard, adding greater maritime visibility to its existing data from across the transport chain, from point of origin to point of destination.

“The integration of MarineTraffic Visibility for Containers Solution to the Shipeezi platform provides companies with the most accurate predictive ETAs for each stop up to the final port of discharge for their seaborne shipments,” said Alex Charvalias, Supply Chain In-Transit Visibility Lead at MarineTraffic.

“Blind spots are eliminated, and users can rest assured that they have all the essential data to adjust their planning and improve efficiency at any time.”
