LNG shipping company GasLog has completed the implementation of BASSnet’s Crew Portal mobile app, to allow crews to manage various employment details from their own devices.
The app is integrated with BASSnet’s Human Resources Manager, the firm’s ERP system crewing and payroll management, and will allow crew to upload travel expenses with supporting documentation and download their payslips.
For crew planning, seafarers can be updated about their next assignment, travel, and other details, and can then confirm these arrangements via the app. Electronic copies of their licences or certificates can also be directly renewed and updated within the software to assist in compliance management.
