GTMaritime releases updated version of GTDeploy system

GTMaritime has launched an updated version of its GTDeploy system, a fleet management and diagnostics tool to assist shipping companies in optimising their onboard IT systems.

The service provides IT teams with visibility into vessel assets and computer systems, and has now added new features to allow users to improve performance while mitigating cyber-security risks.

The updated GTDeploy provides a centralised platform to view all vessels in the fleet and every computer onboard, highlighting outdated operating software anywhere in the fleet and displaying relevant information such as the last reboot time, operating number, storage availability, and network connections for each computer, to support proactive diagnostics and inventory management.

The application also monitors services running on individual computers to assist in troubleshooting in the event of reported issues, and allows shoreside IT teams to access near-real-time data from ship computers to reduce the time spent on remote log-in procedures when dealing with problems.

“This latest upgrade to GTDeploy is a massive step forward for the solution and continues our commitment to innovate as the needs of the maritime industry evolve,” said Jamie Jones, Operations Director, GTMaritime.

“Equipping IT teams with advanced asset-management and diagnostic tools empowers them to safeguard vessel operations while optimising performance and cyber security.”
