Closelink integrates NAVTOR data to improve lube procurement

Marine lubricant procurement firm Closelink has agreed a new integration with vessel navigation and optimisation technology company NAVTOR, to bring NAVTOR’s reporting data for lubricants remaining on board (ROB) directly into Closelink’s platform.

Integrating NAVTOR’s data will allow Closelink to automate the collection and aggregation of ROB information, reducing the opportunity for manual entry errors and providing purchasers and technical superintendents using the platform with immediate access to information when needed throughout the procurement process.

Improved access to ROB data is also expected to improve inventory monitoring and order planning, the company says, enabling users to efficiently plan and evaluate their options in accordance with current and future stock levels.

“We are thrilled to partner with Closelink, a company that shares our commitment to innovation in the industry,” said Jacob Clausen, Performance Director at NAVTOR.

“This integration underscores the value of high-quality data and its ability to enhance operations for maritime professionals in all sectors.”
