NorthStandard expands range of digital tools

Marine insurer NorthStandard has updated its range of digital services and resources to assist clients in manging risk and improving operational performance.

The company’s website has been upgraded to provide improved access to these tools, including the intelligence portal GlobeView and its new ‘Fuel Insights’ platform, alongside personalised operational dashboards.

GlobeView has been upgraded to provide information that can help users in navigating potential global threats, with augmented risk intelligence assessments of terrorism, piracy, stowaways, theft and other parameters for all major countries, ports, and sea areas.

NorthStandard has also partnered with VPS, a marine fuel testing and inspection specialist, to launch the new Fuel Insights platform, which uses real-time VPS data to provide information on fuel specifications, calorific value, and densities in major bunkering ports.

“In an era marked by unprecedented advances in maritime technology, and with the shipping industry looking to embrace innovative solutions, our new range of digital and technology resources delivers improved operational risk management, efficiency, and cost savings,” said Rob McInally, Global Director, Marketing & Communications, NorthStandard.

“This transformation is not just about new tools but a complete shift in how our members, customers, and brokers interact with us online – opening a world of possibilities and enhanced experiences.”

“These cutting-edge digital and technological resources demonstrate our active leadership as we continue to provide innovative digital solutions for those who depend on us for exceptional service and the latest information and advice.”
