Blue Water to partner with NeugenAI foundation

Blue Water, a provider of maritime software systems, has agreed a strategic partnership with NeugenAI, a newly launched AI foundation, to work together on the development of AI tools for vessel operations.

NeugenAI’s mission is to provide open, accessible AI education and research opportunities to students, backed by training programmes that merge theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.

The collaboration with Blue Water is designed to harness the power of AI to create innovative systems tailored for the shipping industry, leveraging Blue Water’s industry experience and NeugenAI’s AI expertise to develop software and products that address the unique challenges of the sector.

The partners will collaborate to incorporate NeugenAI’s algorithms and data analytics capabilities into new services. One of the first significant outcomes of this collaboration is Aanya, a generative AI chatbot designed to interact with commercial shipping data and provide actionable insights.

““We are excited to bring together our industry knowledge with NeugenAI’s technological expertise to create intelligent solutions that not only improve operational efficiency but also drive sustainable growth within the maritime sector,” said Paarth Neekhara , Chief Technology Officer at Blue Water.
