Anschütz updates eLog for new Ballast Water Record Book regulations

Anschütz reports that it has released a new version of its eLog electronic logbook software to comply with the latest International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements for Ballast Water Record Books (BWRBs).

The updated eLog includes several improvements for ballast water documentation, including an IMO-compliant format, automated data transfer to minimise manual input, and a tank-by-tank reporting structure.

It also features built-in validation checks, blockchain-based security to prevent tampering, and remote access for shore-based monitoring.

Anschütz says that the eLog is accepted by major flag states as a full equivalent to paper logbooks.
