Sea.AI to integrate radar perception into AI navigation platform

Sea.AI reports that it is integrating radar perception software into its AI-powered navigation platform to improve situational awareness and object detection in all visibility conditions.

The integration will use Tocaro Blue’s ProteusCore radar perception technology to combine radar data with Sea.AI’s existing machine vision system, which already incorporates optical, thermal, and AIS inputs.

The combined system will offer a unified interface providing improved situational awareness and collision avoidance capabilities, including filtered radar targets to reduce screen clutter.

Sea.AI says the upgraded system will be available as a software update for existing users in Q4 2025.
