Hydrofoil tech firm Flying Fish gets new investment

CPAC Systems has agreed a deal to take a minority stake in Flying Fish Maritime Innovations, a Dutch company developing vessel hydrofoil technology.

The companies aim to support the development of digital and sustainable vessel systems through closer collaboration on intelligent control platforms for recreational and commercial applications.

“We see this partnership with CPAC Systems as a powerful catalyst for growth,” stated Gerben Schonebaum, CEO and co-founder of Flying Fish.

“With our shared vision and CPAC Systems’ proven ability to scale technology and access global markets, we’re confident this collaboration will amplify the impact of our solutions and fuel the continued expansion of our engineering capabilities.”

Flying Fish will continue to operate independently, with the investment expected to support its growth, R&D, and market expansion. Areas of joint development will include integration of onboard digital systems, fleet management tools, and vessel control technologies.
